A leading developer of tools for digital, 3-D, soil and topography mapping uses E-Z Chain® cable carriers to house and protect hydraulic and electrical cables on five environmental surveying vehicles.
The Energy Chains have been employed for more than two years and easily withstand abuse from a number of environmental elements such as rain, heat, dirt, branches and brush. The company also chose E-Z Chain for safety reasons. Because the E-Z Chains protect cables from damage or slicing by outside forces, vehicle operators avoid injury from exposed cables, but still can easily access them through E-Z Chain’s split memory-retaining crossbar.
E-Z Chain, like all igus Energy Chains, is maintenance-free, chemical-resistant and can be used in applications from packaging to cranes to farm equipment.
