Chainflex CFBUS cables deliver reliable,
interference-free operation

EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. – March 29, 2007 – Igus® Inc., the leading developer of Energy Chain® cable carriers, Chainflex® continuous-flex cables and iglide® plastic bearings offers Chainflex CFBUS cables for bus systems. The CFBUS series supports Profibus, DeviceNet, Interbus, Can-Bus, Firewire, USB and Ethernet industrial networks. These special cables are designed to flex for millions of cycles and provide fast, reliable data transmission. Chainflex CFBUS also provides an overall shield for increased EMI protection needed in today’s high-noise industrial environment.

Specifically designed for use in Energy Chain cable carriers, CFBUS is a high-flex cable with an extended service life. CFBUS has a minimum bending radius of 10 times the outer cable diameter and is equipped with a pressure-extruded, flame-retardant, TPE-blend outer jacket. CFBUS cables also are oil-resistant, and are UL AWM, ROHS and CE compliant.

Chainflex cables are available in more than 700 sizes and styles. The line ranges from power and control to air hoses, data cables, servo cables and fiber optic cables. Chainflex cables are an ideal partner for Energy Chain cable carriers. Igus offers full harnessing services.
