Go now! | “No order too small!” says leading developer of plastic machinery components With 95% of its products in stock, igus Inc. requires no minimum quantities on any order of its cables, cable carriers, bearings or linear guide systems EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. – April 27, 2007 – Igus® Inc., the leading developer of Energy Chain® cable carriers and iglide® plastic bearings, reminds the industry that no order is too small and it requires no minimum quantities on any request for its cables, cable carriers, bearings or linear guide systems. The company retains 95% of its product in stock, so whether it’s an order for 10 bearings or 10,000, every customer receives the same level of customer service and commitment to quality. “Virtually all of our products are kept in stock and readily available, which enables us to treat each customer with the highest level of service,” said Carsten Blase, vice president of igus. “It doesn’t matter how many pieces they need. Many vendors only cater to the large orders, which can be unpredictable. But the small orders come in all the time. More importantly, if we take care of them today, next month or next year they may need that large order and they will turn to us, because we were always there for them.” Igus manufactures Energy Chain cable carriers to guide and protect cables and hoses on automated machinery, Chainflex ® continuous-flex cables designed for use in an Energy Chain System ®, iglide plastic plain bearings, igubal ® spherical bearings and DryLin ® linear bearings and guide systems. All of the company’s products are developed based on its pioneering polymer technology. Plastic components require no lubrication and are maintenance free. Despite industry misconceptions, they are evenly matched to withstand the stresses, loads and conditions of their metal counterparts. Plastic costs less, and its long lifespan further decreases the cost/investment ratio. About igus
