Uniquely designed Energy Chains deliver
extremely quiet operation

EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. – March 29, 2007 – Igus® Inc., the leading developer of Energy Chain® cable carriers, Chainflex® continuous-flex cables and iglide® plastic bearings, offers System E6 Energy Chains for extremely quiet, low-vibration operation. System E6 is uniquely designed with abrasion-resistant connector strips—rather than a pin and bore configuration—that when combined with a short link pitch produces little to no noise even at high speeds.

With its modular design, System E6 can be easily shortened or lengthened at any time and is equipped with snap-open crossbars, or lids for a tube design, along both radii, enabling easy cable access. Users also can add various interior separating options and integrated strain relief to the system, which is available in five different sizes with inner heights ranging from 1.14 inches to 23.62 inches.

System E6 is ideal for cleanroom applications, but can be found in many industries ranging from manufacturing to medical. Like the entire family of Energy Chain cable carriers, System E6 is lightweight, maintenance-free and a perfect partner for igus’ line of Chainflex continuous-flex cables.
