Filling & Packages

Sufficient clearance needs to be provided for all cables and hoses to compensate for the forces from multi-axis movement.

As a general rule, the following values must apply:

  • total diameters of all cables/hoses must not exceed 60% of the available Triflex R cross section;
  • clearance of at least 10% (min. 1 mm) needs to be maintained between each cable/hose and the walls of the carrier;
  • all cables and hoses must move freely inside the straightened out Triflex R (please review chart for available cross sections); and
  • to avoid placing stress on the cables/hoses, the smaller the ratio between the usable cross section and the total cable/hose diameters, the better.
