E.F. Marsh Engineering in St. Louis, Mo. designs and manufactures Marco conveyors, the United States' premier tubular-frame conveyor and the only brand in continuous production since its launch in 1944. Marco conveyors are respected around the world for their long life, low maintenance and cost-saving features.

Marsh had been using a standard festoon on its conveyors which transport sand, gravel and stone in quarries. The festoon could only be installed externally to the machine, leaving it vulnerable to damage and debris.

Marsh’s ReadyChain system is 45 feet long and fits snugly on the inside of the box frame, providing protection from the elements and contaminants. The price of the ReadyChain is just half that of the festoon and the company saves two to four hours per installation.
