CCM Machine Inc. needed to replace unsealed needle bearings which were subject to corrosion and torsional loads in the front fork of its motorcycles. The needle bearings required service or replacement every few years.

The company chose to use igus Inc.'s line of iglide plastic bearing which require no maintenance. CCM has been using iglide L280 for more than 3 years with no evidence of wear. Iglide L280 resistant to dirt and chemicals and also has an especially high service life.

By using iglide, CCM and its customers enjoy lower costs and less maintenance.
