Toys Nevada developed a folding rocking chair. The rockers on a folding rocking chair are connected to legs with dowels inserted through the legs and into the rockers. Folding and unfolding of the chair causes wood-to-wood wear on the dowels. Excessive wear will cause the dowels to eventually fail.

Iglide® A200 flange bearings from igus® Inc. isolate the connector dowels from the chair leg, thus eliminating the possibility of wear. They also act as a spacer between the outside of the chair leg and the inside of the rocker and thus preventing another point of wear.
