DryLin® Linear Range System Comparison |
||
Unlike older bearing technology, DryLin® linear bearings, guides, slides and slide tables are engineered to run dry. Without the need for messy lubricants or costly maintenance and downtime, expensive and cumbersome grease lines can be eliminated from a design entirely. Dirt, dust, and other abrasives will not be drawn into the bearing surface, making DryLin® ideal for aggressive environments, as well as for high moisture, wash-down and even underwater applications. |

DryLin® T guide rails are dimensionally interchangeable with traditional recirculating ball guides, but without the high costs and expensive maintenance. DryLin® T is offered in two series: Series TK01 allows the unique capability of adjusting the clearance to meet the needs of a particular application; Series TK04 is a miniature, non-adjustable version, designed for use in tight design constraints. Both systems utilize iglide® J glide strips that glide on a hard-anodized aluminum rail for reduced friction, low weight, and optimal lifetime. |
The DryLin® N series offers extremely low profiles in several widths, and is therefore ideal in tight space constraints. Like all DryLin® products, the carriages glide smoothly on anodized aluminum rails without the need for messy lubricants - they are also available in preloaded versions for reduced running clearance. DryLin® N is a particularly low-cost alternative to miniature ball bearing systems, and is more precise and economical when compared to many custom-machined or simple plastic parts. |

DryLin® W was developed to promote design flexibility and quick assembly, and is available in both single and double rail configurations, as well as, pre-mounted, bolt-on systems that eliminate the need for time-consuming shaft alignment and carriage assembly. Available as square or round rails, the system can efficiently compensate for misalignment and is suitable for high loads and easy installation. DryLin® W systems are available with our enhanced J200 liners, which reduce friction and optimize bearing life. |
DryLin® R is dimensionally interchangeable with linear ball bearings, but offers cleaner, more cost-effective results on a variety of shaft materials. The unique grooved design of the liner offers excellent precision and enhances its suitability for us in extremely wet and dirt environments - it is also easily replaceable. DryLin® R guides may use our T500 materials in high temperatures and/or applications requiring a high degree of chemical resistance. DryLin® S hard anodized aluminum shafting was specifically developed as the optimal partner for DryLin® R bearings, and increases lifetime up to 50% vs steel shafting when using iglide® J as a bearing material. |

DryLin® slide tables are maintenance-free and offered in both belt- and screw-drives for simple bolt-on assembly. Offering design flexibility and corrosion-resistance, they are also ideal as low cost solutions for reduced production and assembly time. |
