DryLin® S anodized aluminum shafting

Reduce wear by 50% by using DryLin S aluminum shafts

igus® developed DryLin® S hard-anodized aluminum shafting as the optimal sliding surface for DryLin® R linear bearings.

DryLin® R linear bearings are a dimensionally-interchangeable alternative to linear ball bearings and offer a cleaner, more cost-effective performance - even in demanding applications. They consist of high-performance plastic liners slip-fit into an aluminum housing. The unique grooved design of these liners minimizes clearance and is suitable for use in extremely wet or dirty environments. It is also easily replaceable.

Together, the lowest frictional properties are achieved, while wear is reduced by up to 50% versus steel shafting. DryLin® S is also very lightweight and extremely cost-effective.
