With its dryspin® product range, igus® has developed thread technology even further as far as the materials of the nut-sand the symmetry of the lead screws are concerned. dryspin® high helix threads have a special asymmetrical geometry which enables a service life that is up to 5 times longer than solutions generally available on the market. Lead screws made of aluminum which are 3 times lighter than lead screws made of stainless steel are also supplied. The 5 different lead screw materials from stock can be combined with our tribologically optimized lead screw nuts to very good effect. With the respectively appropriate material for the nuts, dryspin® screw drives are a reliable and cost-effective solution for many branches of industry – e.g. in printers, filling plants or laboratory equipment.
