Self-aligning bearings in currency counting machine

igubal® self-aligning bearings along with ball and socket joints enable locking mechanism to work

In this application, igubal® self-aligning bearings were used in a locking mechanism of an automatic currency counting machine. While shutting, the lid of the currency counter is pulled against a counter force from a motor-driven trapezoidal threaded spindle and spindle nut. The self-aligning bearings were used in conjunction with an igubal® elbow and axial ball and socket joint combination. This combination absorbed the tensile strength created by the lid so that the machine could function properly.
