Igus lends product-based support to National Robotics Challenge!

Igus is excited to lend product-based support in conjunction with its Y.E.S. (Young Engineers Support) Program to the 2006 National Robotics Challenge, a robotics event where students from across the country compete in a number of engineering- and science-based events.

In its first year as a sponsor, igus will provide iglide and igubal plastic bearings to twelve teams competing in the Robotic Problem Solving Contest. The students will have to use the bearings in order to achieve this season's game objective, set to be revealed just minutes before they begin.

Igus is also happy to donate products to any teams competing in other NRC games. Students, teachers and mentors are encouraged to submit a Student Sample Request Form and describe their design, in order to receive free igus products. Students can request virtually any igus product across every product line.
