A student team from Davison High School has two first place finishes and an igus Top Gun Award under its belt after competing in the 2005 BEST (Boosting Engineering, Science and Technology) Competition. The Davison team participated in the Cincinnati BEST competition and South’s BEST regional, dominating both competitions.

The team used Energy Chain® cable carrier donated by igus® on its robot. The Energy Chain enabled the team to protect and prevent the tangling of important wires used to operate the robot.
