You really “Otto” know about the Forsyth County Schools robotics alliance of Cumming, Georgia. This 24-member FIRST Robotics team, and its creation, Otto, has certainly made a name for itself. With the use of donated igus® Energy Chain® cable carrier, Otto has maintained his ambitious description as a “fast, agile, high-scoring machine” for the Forsyth Alliance. Otto was undefeated at the FIRST Peachtree Regional and made it to the finals at the Palmetto Regional, due to his lightweight and exceptionally wired forklift elevator with wiring harnessed by System E2 “micro” Energy Chain. The cable carrier provided “reliable, efficient, cable management” for the #1 seeded Peachtree Regional Team. The elevator is a key part of Otto’s success along with his unique grabber, which attaches to the inner tubes from the inside. Together, these components enable the robot to score low, mid, and high with ease while climbing ramps. To learn more about this team, visit www.ForsythAlliance.com.
