LaSalle Academy students created a robot for their third year of competition in FIRST Robotics. The students had to Aim High, as this year’s challenge was to build a robot that could shoot balls into goals stationed on and above the event field.

The team’s robot, also known as Rambot, used donated igus® iglide® J and igubal® spherical bearings, along with DryLin® S aluminum shafting on its front and lower rollers used to grab game balls of the game floor.

LaSalle’s Rambot ranked 26 out of 55 robots. Igus also used a photograph of a team member working hard on Rambot's autonomous programming in an ad that will be featured in the Ga. Championship event book. To learn more about the LaSalle Academy FIRST Robotics Team, visit members.cox.net/rambot/.
