Manchester Memorial High School competed in the 2006 FIRST Robotics N.H. regional in their hometown of Manchester during the month of March. The team didn’t have to travel far to the Verizon Wireless Arena for this year’s competition to compete with its robot, BAE-TI.

The team used donated iglide® plastic bearings on the robot’s roller system that sucked balls off the game floor. BAE-TI’s shooter system, responsible for launching balls into off the ground goals, also pivots on igubal® spherical bearings.

The team did not qualify for the Ga. championship, but is already eager for next year’s FIRST events. To learn more about the Manchester Memorial High School FIRST team, visit home.comcast.net/~mhsteam238/.
