Twelve students from North Carolina State University designed and built a racecar for competition at the 2006 Formula SAE Competition. The team, known as Wolfpack Motorsports, used donated iglide® bearings from igus® on both the steering rack and shifter linkage of the vehicle.

“The bearings are lightweight and need no maintenance,” said team.
