Students from Poudre High School attributed a portion of their success at the 2005 FIRST Robotics Competition to donated igus® products. The team used Energy Chain® cable carrier to manage and protect all the wiring on its robot. Even with all the bumps, scrapes, pushing and shoving the robot encountered, the team reported that Energy Chain held up perfectly.

The Poudre High School students, known as team Alpine Robotics, advanced all the way to nationals with their machine and won an unofficial, but extremely special award for being the “best student-centered and student-run team.” They also took home the Delphi Driving Tomorrow’s Technology Award and the Daimler Chrysler Team Spirit Award.
