During the Cologne trade fair, 15 students from Gsechs University of Applied Sciences presented an elegant wine storage series made of teak, oak, cork and slate veneer. The students also incorporated igus® dry technology into their design.
This year at the World Robot Olympics in Costa Rica, igus® supported team Robo TV from Paul Klee High School. During the competition, the team completed timed tasks using a Lego robot they built and programmed.
Paul Saul wanted to build his own camera slider to shoot time lapse videos and short films. So, he contacted igus® and participated in the Young Engineers Support Program. Saul chose a drylin® W rail and stepper motor for his device. These high-performance plastic products allow for high running speeds and the greatest possible precision for positioning.
