Lighter energy chain with less sag

It is 21,25% lighter, but is it also less stable because of this? To answer this question, igus® compared a newly developed e-chain® in the lab with predecessor models. For a period of four days, both energy chains were loaded with 3.53 lb while unsupported.

The result:

At 18 mm, the new development has more than 63% less sag.
