Chemical resistance and FDA compliance

Gears made of iglide® A500 have been certified for use in direct contact with food. Since they have exceptionally good chemical resistance, they can be used where aggressive cleaners are used. Gears made of iglide® A500 are suitable for heavy-duty use in machinery for the food industry. iglide® A500 is a very dimensionally stable material with excellent wear resistance even at high temperatures.
