Robolink software for programming articulated arms: IME (igus® motion editor)

igus has developed its own graphic programming interface (IME). Originally for the control of a maximum of 8 axes of the series Robolink W. Now Robolink D and Robolink RS are also possible! The software is available open source and free of charge. Using the software requires the indicated hardware configuration (see Fig. 1).
 
Furthermore, the following control components (and others) are suitable for the control of igus joints with stepper motors:
WAGO: I/O system 750: controller PFC200, stepper controller 750-672 and incremental encoder 750-631 (for RL-W)
 
BECKHOFF*: Controller CX5130, stepper controller EL7047 (for RL-D)
 
* Note: Beckhoff is the only one of the systems mentioned to have libraries for inverse kinematics for multi-axial articulated arms
