igus® drag chains and high-flex cables are unified under the smart condition monitoring sensors from i.Sense. With the use of sensors, the signs of impending downtime can often be seen long before the actual failure. With different versions you can detect a breakage of a single e-chain® link, the environmental conditions, the wear in the pin bore of a link or the wear outside the link in case of sliding applications. These sensor systems not only help to react to machine failures at an early stage, but also make it possible to extend the service life of your machines.

Reliable condition monitoring in the crane industry
Heavy loads, long periods of use, and a wide variety of weather conditions – cranes must present a fantastic performance. To ensure this at all times, reliable condition monitoring concepts are needed.
In automotive production, the assembly lines never stand still. Smart production concepts in the style of predictive maintenance have long been established in these production lines.
