In the case of these robots, the hose package had to be replaced very few weeks. After all, the conditions in the magnesium die-casting industry (heat, dirt, oil, metal chips, dust, etc.) are extremely harsh. The replacement resulted in a shutdown of production every time and caused correspondingly high costs. The triflex® R cable carriers multidimensionally flexible energy supply system for robots resolved the problem very quickly; for more than one year, the same energy chain cable carriers are still being used without any failures.
