Giant crane

The portal crane “Goliath” is used for shipbuilding. Problematic was the cable management. The energy chain system is modified. The existing tandem model has been equipped with two supports, one for the upper and one for the lower chain application. Because Goliath is used outside, all cables as well as its sheath need to fulfil special requirements. Its lifetime has been increased and the periods for maintenance extended after the use of protectors.
