Industrial robots

A perpendicular robot with 16 axes – used for the transportation and assembly of heavy working equipment. Four arms can work on each process – although it is also conceivable that only one cantilever arm takes over these workflows. The task was to optimise the existing system. Its footprint was reduced, noise development minimised, scrap reduced. To achieve this, e-chains® from igus® were fitted vertically on the top of the robot frame.
