A circular blending bed can be used to store and retrieve material at the same time – in this case petroleum coke. The system has two cantilever arms which rotate about a central column. One of these houses the control, amongst other elements – internal communication is secured via cables. Due to the high energy requirements their cross-sections and thus thickness are particularly large.
