This is the new type of exoskeleton robot and it is worn on the body to enforce the movement of the patient. The further development is characterised by several innovative optimizations: Support of the natural motion of the shoulder joint is the most important aspect. The exoskeleton is furthermore manageable, transportable and of lightweight. It furthermore disposes of the design that never reminds you to an industrial robot. It does not stigmatise the user. Apart from that, a cost intensive production and the complex mechanism have made a use at home impossible until today. Products from igus® now allow the attachment of the electronic components, sensors and signal cables in an aesthetic and patient-friendly way
