Silver for maximum rotation The solution for the 7th axis of a machine tool used to use freely suspended cables. Now the multi-rotation module (MRM) from igus® is used which realises rotational movements of up to 720 degrees in this application. This allows fast rotation of 180°/s and acceleration of 30°/s² to be guaranteed with extremely fast changes in direction. The MRM was delivered completely pre-assembled and mounted by igus® and simply had to be attached to the machine tool and connected up.
