Coal transport system

This gigantic coal transport system is appropriately called MAMUT (similar to the German for mammoth). It conveys coal over a length of 787 feet. A large number of cables are required for operation, with the motors alone requiring 200 kW of power. In addition, numerous control and data cables are needed. They all have to be suitable for outdoor use, which is why chainflex® cables from igus® are used, safely routed by an e-chain® of the 4040 series.
