Cable carrier for a gear grinding machine
This application showed that a vertical stroke of more than one metre and a swivelling range of 270° can be implemented in the limited installation space of the grinding head in a gear-grinding machine. Since the conventional suspended installation of an energy chain® cable carrier was not possible, an energy chain cable carrier with a fixing point at the bottom was selected instead. The energy chain cable carriers, which are flexible at both ends, are run over a guide pulley and kept under constant tension.
