Mobile welding system
In this case, with a pre-harnessed readychain® energy chain system, igus® delivered the solution for this technical challenge of a mobile welding system, which itself was already an enormous challenge for the design engineers. Because the intended place of use for the energy and the control system is variable and may be situated at a height of 10 meters, the perfectly fitting energy chain cable carrier was only allowed to take up very little space and had to be flexible and durable. This is how a modified lifting work platform and the energy supply system was turned into this mobile welding system.
