Sawdust is also not a problem for igus® energy chains. Unlike the cable tubes which were previously used for the energy supply and frequently resulted in failures because of extreme wear, four energy chain cable carriers of the E4/4 family in one guiding trough guarantee cleanly cut pieces of wood. Since their installation, there has not been a single failure that could have been caused by the energy supply system. And because of the clean laying of cables in the energy chain cable carrier, the work safety was also increased.
