Modern polymer energy supply chains are the umbilical cord of mechanical engineering and automation. They ensure the safe supply of energy, data, pulses and operating media and are always in motion. They can be used universally – on cranes, machine tools and robots, all the way to Hollywood.

Bold applications wantedThe vector award is bestowed for audaciously inventive energy-supply applications. It is permissible for them to have been implemented with diverse kinds of energy chains and cables.

The golden vector trophy, certificate and aprize money of $5,446.75 (5,000 euros)

The silver vector trophy, certificate and aprize money of $2,723.38 (2.500 euros)

The bronze vector trophy, certificate and aprize money of $1,089.35 (1.000 euros)

Conditions of participation and application

The projects submitted for the vector awards for plastic energy chain applications, and are evaluated by an independent jury made up of researchers, members of the technical press and manufacturers' representatives. We are searching for application solutions that have been implemented in industry and are characterized by technical and economic efficiency as well as by audaciousness and creativity.

Applications involving energy chains made of plastic and plastic compounds with all mixtures are admissible. By entering the competition, the person submitting the entry makes a legally binding declaration to the effect that the participating company agrees to any kind of reporting/advertising relating to the application.
