The cable carriers on this drilling machine must withstand extreme vibrations and dirt. An all-plastic igus® energy chain cable carrier replaced a defective cable carrier made from a plastic-aluminum composite.
energy chains from System E4/4 range were able to cope with these conditions without any problems and with little maintenance. The cable carriers also withstand the high tensile loads and often adverse outdoor weather conditions.
