With constant development of new innovations, tribo-optimized igus® plastic enable customers to lower costs and improve machine technology. Driven by the success of recent years, we were able to present 114 new products at this year’s Hannover trade fair. Highlights from our new product lineup include the multi-functional iglide® tribo tape, the world’s first tribo-filament for 3D printers, and a new PRT slewing ring made entirely of plastic. All our new products enhance the versatility and performance of plastics in motion, or Motion Plastics®.

Motion Plastics® – plastics in motion

Our continuous research and development of plastics for moving applications is beneficial to our customers. Today, there are 45 different iglide® materials available for a variety of requirements, including for use in high or low temperatures, in chemicals, and in heavy-duty applications.

The task of tribo-optimized Motion Plastics® is to actuate, feed, and move installations, equipment, and products. Motion Plastics® have become indispensable in the automotive and chemical industries, in mechanical and plant engineering, and even in robotics.
