Assembly robot

This robot transports gates with a weight of up to 1,7 tons on a rail system. In addition there is its self-weight. The travel is 23 ft. The robot picks up the gates with vacuum grippers and transports them bidirectional between different machining points. At the same time the robot and the energy supply system – realized with an igus® e-chain® to save space - get in contact with used materials such as powder lacquer. Robot and energy supply are permanently in operation thanks to the high reliability of the e-chain®.
