Banana ice cream and drylin® T - is that possible?
drylin® T rail guides are used in the automation of banana ice cream on a stick. Banana ice cream contains a high sugar content, and during production the linear guides must be cleaned regularly. drylin® T linear rails and linear carriages are dry-operating and self-lubricating and can therefore be used in the immediate vicinity of the ice cream. All components are corrosion-free when in contact with water and detergent.

- What was needed: A linear rail solution that can handle the ice-cold, sugary and sticky ice mass without contaminating it with grease and is also impervious to fruit acid.
- Requirements: Robust against cold, fruit acid, sugar crystals and without grease
- Products used: drylin® T linear rail TS-20 with our linear carriage TW-12-20
- Success for the customer: Cost-effective, low maintenance and lasts for years. The working environment is very cold and the ice cream mass is sugary, so the solution must be as resistant as possible.
