iglide® C500 is a chemical and humidity specialist for hot, wet environments. It pairs high media resistance and low moisture absorption with low friction, making it a solid choice for strips exposed to steam, condensate, and frequent cleaning.

When to use it: For chemically demanding, humid or hot zones where stable sliding and dimensional control are needed.
When not to use it: For food-grade compliance at higher heat, see A350 or A500; for extreme chemical and temperature resistance, consider X or AD500; for general-purpose low-friction strips, see J350 or JB.

• Parts wider than the strip or requiring large pocketed faces (choose plate stock)
• Thin liners, shims, or low profile wear layers (choose sheet stock)
• Curved or complex 2D profiles that nest better on larger plates or sheets
• Turned, round geometries (choose round bar)
