Jib cranes are an indispensable part of industry. They transport workpieces of all kinds to loading ramps, processing machines and assembly stations. However, failures can always occur, for example, when energy and data cables that hang down are damaged by a forklift during workpiece unloading. The consequences of these failures and accidents are downtime, unplanned repair costs and production delays. To increase system safety and productivity, igus® has developed the energy supply system, guidelok swing GLO.S. With the guidelok swing GLO.S, energy and data cables no longer hang unprotected in the air, but move directly in the jib crane's girder contour.
- More space between crane girder and e-chain® (8-19 mm), larger radii of curvature possible
- Long service life due to safely guided cables
- No cable loops hanging down
- No guide trough necessary
- Reduced assembly time
