igubal A181EM and A181KM – our universal spherical balls for the food and pharmaceutical industries

The injection moulded A181EM and A181KM spherical balls of the dimensional series E or K are made of iglidur A181. This tribologically optimised high-performance polymer is ideal for applications in the food and pharmaceutical industries and meets the requirements of the FDA and EU Regulation 10/2011. The material is characterised by high wear resistance at room temperature, high media resistance, high resistance to edge pressure, impacts and shocks, as well as low coefficients of friction under medium to high loads.

The solid lubricants contained in the material make regular maintenance unnecessary and protect the environment by replacing external lubrication over the entire service life. The spherical design enables movement in multiple directions, thereby offering high flexibility for dynamic applications.
