CF140US is the shielded version of CF130US — the same TC-ER tray-rated, oil-resistant PVC cable for the North American market, with a braided shield for EMC control and a slightly larger 10 × d minimum e-chain® bend radius to accommodate it. It keeps the +5 °C to +80 °C (+41 °F to +176 °F) operating range within e-chains, the UL/CSA and NFPA 79 approvals, and the indoor/outdoor, oil-resistant jacket, adding noise immunity for control and signal runs in code-compliant machinery.
When to use it: Low-duty flexing in North-American-market machines that need both a TC-ER tray rating and an EMC shield, with light oil contact and indoor/outdoor placement — drive-adjacent control runs in packaging and handling equipment.
When not to use it: When no shield is needed and cost matters (use the unshielded CF130US), when the mechanical duty rises to medium or high or travel gets longer (use CF160.UL or CF6), or when the environment calls for a tougher jacket against chemicals or heat (step into the PUR family such as CF78.UL).
Application areas: EMC-sensitive, tray-rated control runs in NEC-compliant machinery, packaging and material-handling systems, and indoor/outdoor installations needing a shielded, oil-resistant low-flex cable.
