Coupling

igus® electric motor couplings connect the motor and driven shafts to transmit torque while compensating for misalignment. Each electric motor coupling is available with two axis supports — square and round — though the expanding mandrel version comes with a round support only. The elastomers are made of TPU with a shore hardness of 98 Sh A and can be replaced when worn, and the bore diameters on both the motor and axis sides are fully configurable. With a temperature resistance of -30°C to 100°C, these motor couplings are built to perform in demanding environments.
