This category excludes substances from the group of fluoropolymers.

  • Endurance runner with high dimensional stability at high temperature - Can be used with many kind of shafts and loads
  • Excellent coefficient of friction against steel
  • Continuous service temperature up to +356 °F
  • For medium and high loads

iglidur® J350 | Endurance runner with high dimensional stability at temperature - applicable with many shafts and load collectives

A superior material for rotational applications - and that on many different steel shafts: The service life of iglidur® J350 can often be multiplied at loads between 2MPa and 50MPa. In addition, the high temperature resistance makes it a very versatile material.

Typical applications

  • Vending machinery
  • Automotive
  • Glass industry
  • Machine tools

When to use it?

  • When a wear-resistant material for rotational movement at medium and high loads is required
  • When a cost-effective material is required for use at high temperatures
  • When press-fit up to +150°C is necessary
  • When high wear resistance is required at high loads
  • When the material is exposed to shock loading

When not to use it?

  • When continuous operating temperatures are higher than +180°C
  • When the lowest friction is required
  • When a cost-effective, low-friction mterial is sought
  • At high peripheral speeds
Unsure if it fits?
