Ready-to-connect control system for a ReBeL® 7th axis
Control a 7th axis through digital I/O
This control system provides a ready-to-connect way to integrate a linear 7th axis with the ReBeL® cobot. The I/O unit connects through digital signals, allowing the robot control system to operate the axis without requiring a separate master control system.
Control cabinet and cable set included
The system includes a control cabinet and 3 m cable set. The 7th axis supports a maximum speed of 0.3 m/s.

Alternative control options
The 7th axis can also be operated through an existing robot control system. Alternatively, each linear axis or motor can be operated using a separate motor controller, such as the igus® dryve D1.
When individual motor controllers are used, an additional master control system is required to coordinate movement. Motor controllers are not included but can be ordered separately. A master control system is not currently offered by igus®.
Application examples
Typical applications include pick-and-place and robotic welding systems that require the robot to travel beyond its standard working range.
