iglide® PEC200 – round bar

PEC200 is a dry-running, low-wear material for straightforward guides, spacers and bearing-type parts where clean operation and easy machining matter. It combines consistently low friction with broad media tolerance for simple, reliable motion components in low to medium load ranges.

When to use it: For standard wear parts needing clean, lubrication-free operation and good media resistance.
When not to use it: For elevated temperatures choose X; for higher loads in abrasive settings see W300 or Q2; for best results on hard-anodized aluminum shafts consider J200.

When to use bar stock

• No matching size in the iglide® catalog
• Small quantities or special dimensions
• Tribo-optimized plastic needed for low friction and wear on a chosen counterface
• High compressive strength or elasticity required
• Rapid prototypes or design iterations
• Nonstandard or complex geometries

When not to use bar stock

• A standard iglide® catalog bearing fits
• Very large volumes of one geometry (use standard parts or molding)
• Tribo properties not required and a non-tribo plastic suffices
