iglide® FEC200 – round bar

Designed for clean, maintenance-free sliding parts, FEC200 offers low friction and dependable wear performance for guides, spacers and bearing-type elements under low to medium loads. It machines cleanly for one-off parts or short runs and delivers smooth running where simple, durable dry-operation is the priority.

When to use it: For general-purpose wear parts that need low friction, dry running and quick machining in low to medium load ranges.
When not to use it: For higher continuous temperatures choose X; for abrasive environments or higher loads see W300 or Q2; for optimized performance on hard-anodized aluminum shafts consider J200.

• No matching size in the iglide® catalog
• Small quantities or special dimensions
• Tribo-optimized plastic needed for low friction and wear on a chosen counterface
• High compressive strength or elasticity required
• Rapid prototypes or design iterations
• Nonstandard or complex geometries

When not to use bar stock

• A standard iglide® catalog bearing fits
• Very large volumes of one geometry (use standard parts or molding)
• Tribo properties not required and a non-tribo plastic suffices
