iglide® REC200 – round bar

REC200 prioritizes dimensional stability and durability: high hardness and rigidity, low moisture uptake and tough impact behavior support accurate, long-life sliding parts. It maintains low friction and wear in dry operation and resists many common media, making it a solid choice for housings, bushings and structural wear elements.

When to use it: For precision wear parts that must hold size (low water absorption) and run smoothly under low to medium loads.
When not to use it: For higher continuous temperatures choose X; for heavy loads in abrasive dust see W300 or Q2; for optimized running on hard-anodized aluminum shafts consider J200.

• High compressive strength or elasticity required
• Rapid prototypes or design iterations
• Nonstandard or complex geometries

When not to use bar stock

• A standard iglide® catalog bearing fits
• Very large volumes of one geometry (use standard parts or molding)
• Tribo properties not required and a non-tribo plastic suffices
