iglide® i190PF, PTFE-free 3D Printing FDM Filament

PTFE-free, high-strength tribofilament for wear-resistant parts: iglide® i190-PF

The new iglide® i190-PF tribofilament was developed for wear-resistant parts that need low friction, long service life, and higher mechanical strength without PTFE. It can be processed on commercially available 3D printers and is a strong fit for applications where higher strength and wear resistance are important. In pin-on-disk testing, i190-PF achieved a service life up to 78 times longer than conventional PETG.

With flexural strength up to 80 MPa, iglide® i190-PF is a strong all-round tribofilament for a wide range of wear applications. A closed printer is recommended for processing. The filament is moisture-sensitive and should be stored dry and actively dried on a regular basis. Processing instructions and printer profiles are available in the Downloads tab.

When to use it?

• When a PTFE-free filament is required
• When higher strength is required
• When low friction and high wear resistance are important

When not to use it?

• When the application temperature exceeds 90 °C for extended periods (→ iglide® J260 or iglide® RW370-PF)
• For applications underwater or in high-humidity environments (→ iglide® i180-PF)
• When the application requires a food-safe material (→ iglide® i150-PF or iglide® A350)
• When an even easier-to-process tribofilament is required (→ iglide® i150-PF)
